OBF featured in Cultural Trust videos

The Oregon Bach Festival figures prominently in a new series of videos released by the Oregon Cultural Trust to promote contributions during the year-end giving season.

In the Festival segment, baritone Aaron Cain, gamba player Joanna Blendulf, and organist Julia Brown share their views on the OBF’s “passions and possibilities.” Beautifully shot and recorded, it’s one in a series that highlights the trust’s role as our state’s cultural champion, developing and sustaining the arts, heritage, and humanities that keep Oregon vibrant, healthy and alive.

Donors to the trust who are Oregon residents receive a unique benefit: when they give an amount that matches their contributions to other cultural causes, they get the match amount back in the form of a tax credit. Details are on the trust website; deadline for giving to receive a 2012 tax credit is Dec 31.
