Fees and Facts
Please note our new rates!
Tuition: $1,200 for participating conductors as selected through the audition process. $800 for auditors for the entire class, or $50 per day for partial stays. We can also help you to curate a multi-day experience. Room & board: All participating conductors and auditors are free to arrange their own housing or request housing through OBF. Housing costs are $84 per night for a single room or $71 per person, per night for a double room. OBF housing is provided in Barnhart Hall on the University of Oregon campus and all meals are provided through campus dining, which accommodates a wide variety of tastes and dietary needs. Those requesting a double room without a specific roommate can have one assigned.
Limited need-based financial aid will be available to conductors chosen for the class.
The Conducting Master Class can be taken for college credit, on a cost-per-credit basis, by participating conductors or auditors who attend the entire program. Contact OBF if you are interested in exploring this option.
Tickets for select OBF concerts are included at no charge for class members, subject to availability and class schedule. Additional tickets will be available at a discounted rate.
