Master Class in Conducting: Auditing

While the conducting positions are limited and filled only through audition, anyone may attend the class as an auditor. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to learn from the skilled artists of OBF and be immersed within the excitement of the Festival.

Auditors and conductors attend all classes and seminars, participate in class discussions, and receive all class benefits, including tickets to all OBF concerts and events. Auditors also have the option to attend the Festival for less time and cost than the full 15-day schedule.

Who should consider being an auditor?

  • Conductors planning to audition in the future
  • Musicians who don’t have access to the ensembles needed to produce an audition
  • Anyone who loves music and is interested in the craft of conducting
  • Conductors who want to attend, but can’t commit to the full two-week class
