Stangeland Family Youth Choral Academy
Welcome to the 20th year of the Stangeland Family Youth Choral Academy!
The SFYCA is a peak artistic experience for high school choral musicians under the direction of Dr. Anton Armstrong at the world-renowned Oregon Bach Festival. Spend two weeks performing exceptional choral literature and strengthening your passion for the choral arts through daily rehearsals, classes, and workshops.
To celebrate this momentous anniversary, alumni of the YCA and SFYCA are invited to return this summer and join the 2017 SFYCA choir in their Showcase Concert! Please see details on the Alumni page.

While in residence with the SFYCA, you will:
Join ten days of the world-class Oregon Bach Festival. Perform as part of the season’s regular concert schedule. Engage in community outreach events.
Immerse yourself in an extensive choral training program and rehearsal schedule led by internationally respected, expert faculty
Perform exceptional choral literature
Prepare for your musical life after high school and gain perspective on the collegiate experience while you’re in residence on the University of Oregon Campus
Distinguish yourself as an exceptional professional candidate on upcoming resumes and college applications.
This 10-day program is open by audition nationally and internationally.
