It's recruitment time! The Oregon Bach Festival is now looking for a fresh crop of dedicated individuals to help ensure our summer spectacular is a smashing success. Interested? You’re in the right place. Read on to learn more about the amazing opportunities that await!

Who we’re looking for: While our interns have typically been college or university students, post-graduates seeking skills for a new career or who have a keen interest in OBF are welcome to apply. Our internships do not have specific major or degree requirements, but backgrounds and interests in music, artistic operations/ administration, donor relations, event management or marketing are a plus. What you’ll gain: These internships provide opportunities for students to gain experience in their chosen field, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, create a network of contacts, and even gain school credit. Most importantly, interns have the opportunity to assist in the production of a full-scale, state-wide, internationally recognized music festival, which includes meeting artists, managing events, and working with the press. When you’ll be working: Most of our positions begin at the end of April/start of May and last until mid-July. Part-time work (coordinated around school, work and finals schedules) will begin in April/May and last through mid-June; full-time work will begin around June 10th and will continue until the end of the internship. Specific hours will vary; your supervisor will work with you to create your schedule. However, applicants MUST be available 7 days/week during Festival dates (June 24th – July 14th, 2013). What’s available: There are 8 openings for 4 positions, as follows.       For a printer-friendly version of this page and for all of the positions in brief, download our Internships At-A-Glance document. For a complete file of all the internship positions and an overview of our program, download our Internship Packet 2013. How to apply: Send a résumé and cover letter detailing your qualifications and interest in the position(s) addressed to Lauren Pinchin, Event & Contract Coordinator at obfinterns@gmail.com. Please merge your résumé and cover letter into one PDF file and email it as a single attachment, and include the position you are applying for in the subject line of the email. If you are applying for multiple positions, please send separate emails with a tailored cover letter and résumé for each position, and include the ranking order of your choices; otherwise, we will assume you are interested in each position equally. Applications are due by midnight on Sunday, April 7th, 2013. Interviews will take place the week of April 15th - 19th.

We look forward to your application!
