A Storm is coming. Are you ready?

  • Jun 1, 2015

Musician. Actor. Playwright. Author. Awesome.

Songstress Storm Large, last seen at the OBF fronting Pink Martini at the Cuthbert Amphitheater, returns to Eugene to sing life into the biting and beautifully sardonic world of Weill and Brecht’s Seven Deadly Sins Friday, June 26, at 7:30 pm in Silva Concert Hall.

And that’s just the start. Fresh from selling out Portland’s Schnitzer Concert Hall, Storm will captivate OBF audiences with Copland’s Appalachian Spring, a new work by Portland composer Mason Bates, torch songs, American songbook standards done in her fearless style, and a blazing bolt of rock.

Special guests Hudson Shad, a New York-based classical comedic vocal quartet, and the OBF orchestra, conducted by Robert Moody, add richness to the melodic mix.

One of Oregon’s own, Storm is an American renaissance woman who delivers unrestrained and impassioned performances of love, desire, and truth. Make a date to be swept away by Hurricane Large June 26 at the Oregon Bach Festival.
