A magical evening of great chamber music

  • Jul 1, 2015

Chamber Music Northwest artistic director and clarinet virtuoso David Shifrin brings some of the finest performers from his festival to share with you. This fascinating program combines the genius of Mozart with the world premiere of a new work by Oregon composer Kenji Bunch. Ralph’s Old Records depicts the discovery of his father’s box of old jazz albums through which he connects to a time past and by extension to his father. At times jazzy, humorous, and poignant, this performance will be a truly special event. Surrounding it are masterpieces of Mozart, his Flute Quartet and the String Quintet in D Major.

Performing this concert are festival artists from CMNW, many of whom hail from New York and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Make plans to attend this spectacular recital.
