Audience Favorite Ya-Fei Chuang Returns to Beall Tonight

  • Jul 6, 2015

One of OBF’s favorite artists, Ya-Fei Chuang, returns tonight with sensational program of Romantic masterpieces, including the 24 Preludes of Frederick Chopin. Based on Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, the preludes show the full spectrum of Chopin’s genius through these miniature works that remain some of the most popular piano pieces ever written. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear the entire cycle in person.

Ya-Fei Chuang’s incredible technique and artistry are also on display with two sets  of Musical Moments by very different composers, Franz Schubert and Sergei Rachmaninoff. Schubert evokes the poetry of the instrument while Rachmaninoff creates a musical universe of passion and drama.

Audiences in 2013 thrilled to Ya-Fei’s incredible performance of the Liszt sonata. Be there tonight at Beall for her next great concert. Visit the ticket office or our website to order tickets.
