Here we have an evening with Levin and his equally talented wife, Ya-Fei Chuang, performing a delicious assortment of keyboard works on the Fazioli pianos: two fugues from Bach’s The Art of Fugue, BWV 1080; Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit; Lutoslawski’s Variations on a Theme by Paganini; and Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances, Op. 45. Located in The Shedd, Jaqua Hall's warm acoustics will resound with the contrasting styles of this talented team, while oversize video screens give you a close-up view of their dazzling technique.
