Friends of the Oregon Bach Festival: Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nov 25, 2010
Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you have a specific question not here, please contact the OBF office, (800) 457-1486. How do I become a Friend? You become a member of the Friends of the Festival with any gift made to the Festival; gifts of $125 or more entail certain member benefits that increase with each level of gift. To make a secure gift today, simply click "give online" in the menu you see to the left, and be sure to select "Oregon Bach Festival" as your gift designation. How do I get my member benefits? Most member benefits are perks that can be used during the Festival season (June 26-July 13, 2014). In mid- to late-May, you will receive a letter from the Festival with a list of all the benefits you are eligible for. Some of them will require your reply via a return envelope or an online RSVP link. If you have any questions before or after you receive this package, please contact the office (see above). How do I get my ticket discount? During the priority ticket order period (March-April), current Friends of the Festival receive first choice for tickets and, at enhanced giving levels, discounts for selected concerts. The amount of the discount varies by concert. The 2014 Season brochure and  instructions on early ordering will be mailed to current members in early 2014. Give before March 1 to ensure you receive your brochure. How can I get my favorite seats? The Bach's Office works very hard to accommodate seating requests. However, we cannot guarantee seating. We recommend you provide the Bach's Office with a first and second choice seating option on your order form. How do I know if my status is current? The membership period runs from August 1 to July 31 of a given year. If we received a donation from you anytime since August 1, you are a current member. How can I check if my membership is current? Please call Cassie Bates at (541) 346-1319 or contact her by email. Read All
