We were moved by Elijah with Thomas Quasthoff. We marveled at such soloists as Robert Levin and Ya-Fei Chuang. We sang along with the inimitable Bobby McFerrin. We celebrated Helmuth Rilling and the great traditions of the Oregon Bach Festival’s first 40 years. And, we set the stage for the future of the Festival's art form. It is that future that is made possible by generosity of our Friends of the Festival. With your gift, we can create the diverse programming and educational components that have made the Festival one of the world’s top music events. Your gift – no matter the amount – has an immediate impact on the Festivals of tomorrow, helping us to:
  • Produce one of the deepest, most enriching music education programs in the nation, from the Stangeland Family Youth Choral Academy to seminars like “Bach and the Brain.”
  • Enable connections in the concert hall, with friends both old and new.
  • Reach new audiences and keep ticket prices affordable, ensuring that another generation can experience this wonderful music.
Your gift this fall season of $100 or more entitles you to first notice of ticket sales for the 2011 OBF, ticket discounts, and more benefits at successive levels of giving. To become a Friend, or renew your membership, view our giving pages. Give online through the UO Foundation and designate "Oregon Bach Festival." Or contact Nabiha or Patrick at the OBF office. Thank you and have a wonderful fall season.
