Put Bach in their socks: OBF gift ideas

  • Dec 7, 2011
Looking for a unique gift to make those holidays merry and bright? Or add a tantalizing twinkle to the tinsel and the tree? How about a gift certificate to the Oregon Bach Festival? Or the winter-wonderly sounds of a “Choral Holiday”? Search no further—those gifts are here! OBF Gift Certificates are available in any value (we suggest $25 increments to match our average ticket prices). Certificates can then be redeemed for tickets after March 21, when our 2012 season goes on sale, or during the Festival, June 29-July 15. They can be applied or included in a larger order or used like cash to make a purchase. [caption id="attachment_6470" align="alignleft" width="129" caption="Click for song listing and sample clips"][/caption] The “Choral Holiday” CD includes such perennial favorites as Joy to the World, Silent Night and O Come all ye faithful, with the OBF chorus conducted by Royce Saltzman, and less familiar but equally beautiful performances of such carols as Bogoroditse Devo and Dancing Day from a 2005 OBF choral concert conducted by Kathy Romey. Choral Holidays CDs are $10, with proceeds benefitting OBF artistic programs. The CD was sponsored by SELCO community credit union. Your options to order either the CD or a certificate:
  • Call 800-457-1486 and ask for Lauren, Sandy, or Elin.
  • Visit the office (1787 Agate St. #127 in Eugene) during business hours, M-F 8 am – 5 pm.
